Summer Recharge: Relationship Recharge

God designed us for meaningful connections, and Romans 12:10-18 provides a roadmap for godly relationships. We're called to be devoted to others like family and take the lead in showing honor. Today's relationship breakdowns often stem from treating connections as disposable and replacing honor with feelings. To recharge relationships, we should build a triple rhythm of being joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. Taking initiative in hospitality and intentionally pursuing harmony are essential. Healing broken relationships requires letting go of bitterness and embracing forgiveness, just as Christ forgave us.

From Series: "Summer Recharge"

Finding spiritual rest means more than physical relaxation—it's about reconnecting to God as our source of life. Jesus teaches us to remain in Him rather than striving through willpower alone. We need three types of spiritual rest: relational rest in Christ, restorative rest that brings peace to anxiety, and rhythmic rest through intentional patterns. By establishing daily devotions, weekly Sabbath observance, and seasonal retreats, we honor our God-given limitations and find our strength multiplied rather than depleted.
