Missionary: Sara Mourer

"Seven years ago I had a powerful experience with God that changed my life forever. Previous to this experience, I was nearing a point where I no longer believed in the existence of God. I was addicted to drugs and I used them multiple times every day. I had battled homosexuality since I was a small child and had been living as a lesbian for ten years. God crashed into my life one night and revealed His love for me and His existence through many miracles. I could no longer deny God’s existence or His interest in me as His daughter. In that evening of miracles and revelation, God told me that He wanted me to be a missionary. I moved back home to Ohio a year after this monumental, life-changing event. I began taking ministry classes and growing in my relationship with God. I learned to hear God’s voice and obey what He asks me to do. I learned to pray for healing and expect miracles to abound when I do His work." – Sara Mourer
